Design & Build

Whether you seek 2D traditional professionally designed site plans or fully rendered 3D design, we remain actively involved with each project from its conceptual stages, through to its final design and construction. Full Scale Design
A detailed scale design includes these stages:
Consultation: A meeting at your home to discuss your landscape needs. Design ideas and the scope of work are covered and measurements and photos are taken.
Concept: The concept will be presented. This shows the location of proposed design elements which may include planting beds, landscape structures, water features and hard surfaces. Changes, modifications and plant preferences will be discussed.
Final Design: The Final Design will be presented. This will be a high quality vivid colour rendering to scale showing everything included and agreed upon in the concept, incorporating any changes as discussed. Detailed plant material (quantities and varieties) will be listed. At Parkside Landscaping we will work with you to create a landscape that meets your personal needs and reflects your lifestyle.
Turf Management Services
Clippings and Cuttings: Cleanup and removal of paper, trash, twigs, and other undesirable material prior to mowing. All clippings and cuttings will be picked up, air blown or swept clean before leaving the premises after the completion of the workday. All sidewalks, patios, driveways, and roadways will be blown off after lawn mowing and trimming.
Lawn Mowing and Trimming: General cutting throughout the property on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. This includes mowing and trimming around trees, walks, curbs, utility fixtures, drains, catch basins, and patios in order to maintain a neat appearance. We have equipment specialized for every type of lawn. Small push mowers and string trimmers for small lawns with tight areas to get into. Large Walk behind mowers and ride on mowers for the larger lawns. Back pack blowers and wheel blowers to remove all clippings from driveways, walks, patios, street...etc.
Lawn and Bed Edging: Edge cutting of sidewalks, access roads, curbs, trees, and shrub beds to maintain a neat appearance. Weeding of beds can be done on a continuous basis, or per occurence.
Lawn Fertilization: Four applications of fertilizer will be applied throughout the year.
Lawn Over Seeding: Over seeding of lawn areas to include spike aeration and machine thatching to ensure good soil contact.
Weed Control: Two applications for a broadleaf weed control will be applied throughout the year.
Organic Fertilizers: A unique blend of organic materials conditioned to amend the existing soil and provide your lawn with important essential nutrients. It is 100% weed seed free and it contains millions of micro organisms that will assist with breaking down undesirable thatch. We recommend four applications of our organic fertilizer per year to maintain the health of your lawn.
Garden Management Services
At Parkside Landscaping, keeping your gardens growing and thriving is what we love to do and take great pride in. A great looking garden is only as good as the maintenance it's provided. Below is a list of services we offer that are essential to maintaining a beautiful garden.
- Regular bed edging
- Hand raking and turning of soil is required.
- Weed Control
- Complete mulch management
- Pruning/Shearing of all shrubs and trees as required.
- Transplanting/dividing/deadheading of all perennials and shrubs as required.

- Tree, shrub, perennial and annual planting, as well as bulbs
Spring Clean-Up Services
Throughout removal of all salt and grit deposits from edges of lawns, common areas and all parking and drive areas. All winter debris (leaves, twigs, branches, etc.) will be raked, swept and picked up from the lawn areas and beds before the growing season. Ruts will be evened out and spot seeded. General cutting throughout the property which includes mowing, and trimming around trees, walks, curbs, utility fixtures, drains, catch basins, and patios, in order to establish a neat appearance, edge cutting of sidewalks, access roads, curbs, trees, and shrubs to establish a neat appearance. All debris will be removed from the site.
Fall Clean-Up Services
Thorough removal of all debris (leaves, twigs, branches, etc.) from the lawn, beds and all parking and drive areas before the growing season ends of November 30th which ever comes last. A complete blowing of common lawn areas. General cutting throughout the complex which includes cutting and trimming around trees, walks, curbs, utility fixtures, drains, catch basins, and patios. Edge cutting of sidewalks, access roads, curbs, trees, and shrub beds. All debris will be removed from the site.

Snow Removal Services
Our 24-hour snow plow and ice patrols spot snow build ups and send in the snow plowing and snow removal teams before you've made the coffee. We have many environmentally friendly de-icers and anti-icing compounds available for use on any commercial, or residential snow removal property. We also offer Bobcat services as well as loader and trucking services. All of our equipment is fitted with GPS tracking for accurate accounting and site documentation. We have the experience and know-how to create custom snow & ice management plans for even the most complicated properties. Day or night, we'll be there!

Additional Services
Drainage & Dry River Beds: We can provide you with drainage to help with water problems you may have. We can also make a dry Stream bed to allow water to run off in an area that you wish rather than washing away your lawn and mulch areas
Mulch Management: Installation of Pine, Cedar or dyed wood mulch to all existing mulch beds.
Shrub Management: Pruning Shrubbery - All shrubbery will be pruned to maintain neat appearance. However, a natural look will be preserved whenever possible.
